Product Support Event Oman 2016

The success ratio for any business is determined by its ability to control costs of operations. In the construction, petroleum and other similar industries, a major proportion of the cost for operations, relates to equipment owning and management. Addressing this, Oman based Cat® authorized dealer, Oasis Trading & Equipment Co. LLC recently conducted its Product Support event, at Grand Hyatt – Muscat, on 10th May 2016. The event focused on building up customer knowledge, on ways to reduce cost of operating and utilizing their Cat machine to the best of its abilities.

Staying true to its theme- ‘Power up your performance’, the event educated customers on methods to boost their operational performance, with proper equipment management , utilizing various solutions and services available. The event was first of its kind for Oasis Trading, as no such event was held in the past exclusively addressing product support solutions.

The gathering commenced with a ‘meet-and-greet’ session, followed by customers visiting the stands, setup based on product/service bifurcation. The display featured – filters, PM Kits, Undercarriage and its parts, Bundled repair kits including Cat Reman cylinder heads, hoses, GETs etc., Cat certified Rebuild service stations where service managers and certified technician assisted visitors with their queries. “We wanted to assure our customers that their investment is secure,” commented Hamzeh I. Shanna’ah, Product support manager, Oasis Trading & Equipment Co. LLC. He continued, “Our capability to provide authentic parts and services for their machines will ensure business success along with reduced machinery owning and operational cost.”

Visitors got a better insight about the various product support services provided by Oasis Trading from the various presentations delivered at the event, enabling reduction in operational cost and increased output of equipment. According to visitor feedback, the event was informative and participants are looking forward to similar events in the future. One among the visitors, Mr. George Craig, a preventive maintenance manager working at ABRAJ ENERGY SERVICES LLC Oman, a company operating in Oil and gas industry quoted, “The entire event had a smooth, systematic flow to it, which made it a very useful experience for me.” He added, “The representatives and technicians from Oasis Trading were particularly very helpful in assisting and explaining the features of the event throughout. The key note speeches were well presented and delivered by people with great knowledge and pride about the product.”

The event provided a common platform for customers from various industries to network with one another and with the organization’s representatives. “Overall, the event was well organized, offering a very supportive environment and the hospitality from the team deserves a special mention,” said Mr. K.M.A Rahiman, Vice President, Plant unit, Galfar Engineering & Contracting, Oman. He also added, “I would specially like to appreciate Mr. Hamzeh for the wonderful product presentation. All the product support areas were well covered and nicely presented during the event.
