The European Federation of Management Development (EFMD) in Brussels has granted EFMD CEL (accreditation for Technology Enhanced Learning) to the Sales Effectiveness Process at Caterpillar University. After L’Oréal and Volkswagen, Caterpillar University is only the third corporate university to receive this accreditation usually granted to public universities and business schools.

EFMD CEL accreditation recognizes Caterpillar University’s Sales Effectiveness Process as a professional management development program that meets strict requirements in the areas of learning content & process quality, pedagogy, process integrity, supporting technology and certification standards.

“EFMD CEL accreditation adds considerable value to our Sales Effectiveness Process as Caterpillar University sales certification has now become a recognized professional qualification of lasting value for our graduates. EFMD CEL acknowledges the valuable contribution the graduates can bring to our customers’ buying decision as consultants rather than salesmen”, says Ruud Kronenburg, Dean of Caterpillar University’s College of Marketing.

CaterpillarUniversity’s Sales Effectiveness Process is available in 10 different languages and has over 10’000 participants around the world. More than 5’000 students already graduated from the Foundational level, which includes 30 e-learning modules and requires 60-70 hours of self-study.
